Ruggero Imbrignbio once again turned back the clock with a pair of fine performances at the latest edition of the Race of the Minutemen, as he added first and second place finishes in the two time trial stages.
The 33-year-old Italian was written off by many a couple years ago when he failed to register a podium for the entirety of Season 66, but a second win in as many seasons showed that he still had some gas left in the tank.
While much of the focus was on team leader Jochen Ruey, who has been enjoying his own recent purple patch of form, and the up-and-coming Leo Soisalo, it was Imbrignbio who was the toast of the team in Boston at the conclusion of the tour.
While Ruey's 6th place GC finish is nothing to be sniffed at, Dodge's latest results mean the wait for a maiden tour jersey continues. The Australian team has never won a tour category and its last major triumph remains Byron Wallis's stunning World TT win back in Season 17.
